Description
The earth of iron (so called because translation of the English term “Ironstone”) is sometimes called “opaque porcelain” or “half porcelain”, but it is actually the same product. It is made of white clay (clay, kaolin and feldspar) and carbonated lime covered with a lead glaze.
This model from the 1930s is particularly topical, thanks to its very graphic design.
